As Colorado continues to be overlooked by the hip-hop industry, this "sleeper-state" has a few saviors on the way. Underground rappers Parkah & Sabbino formed "LO-SLANT" who are out to put Colorado on the map. Influenced by the likes of Tupac, Bone, Royce da '5 "9, Big L, Talib Kweli, and of course myself the self-proclaimed conscious rapper AKA Parkah. In a time when true lyricism often takes a back seat to watered down, generic songs, Lo-Slant some how finds a way to appeal to the masses while still remaining true to their words. While most of Lo-Slants songs deal with everyday issues/views, they are not afraid to let their imagination run wild and create fictional stories that can be compared to scripts/movies. Lo-Slants goal as rappers is to know that they have changed the game by letting five fingers linga on the mic.

Lo-Slant has been rapping since the tender age of eight in ghetto communities throughout Denver.

So far Lo-Slant has put out a Demo, an EP, and is now hard at work on their first full-length CD.
